The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of characters who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, connecting the individual narratives before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might look out of place, but the actions of the latest installment show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the party knows exactly where to head next after a brutal initial meeting with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, striking Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks revenge.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the party access locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in search of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Explorers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
