Tracking the Venezuela-linked Oil Tanker Reportedly Pursued by the US Coast Guard

Our team is checking images and video posted this morning that depict the aftermath of a reported vehicle-borne explosive blast that authorities in Russia say killed a senior soldier in Moscow.
Officials in Russia confirmed that Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov was in the car that detonated and that he later died to his wounds. An investigation is currently ongoing.
The initial step to verify the location from which the images originated was based on posts saying the explosion occurred on Yasenevaya Ulitsa in the southern part of the capital city of Russia.
Our analysis employed street-view imagery on digital map platforms and the Russian search engine Yandex to match the unique yellow hue of a nearby apartment building captured in the video.
Identifying other structures, streetlights and the street layout confirmed the exact location the pictures were taken.
We also checked that the video clips were recent and that the visuals had not undergone digital alteration.
