Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
